Fiona Gorman Integrative psychotherapist , UB8
I have over 20 years of experience of working with people who are facing difficulties.
I always wanted to train as a psychotherapist and now I am currently working towards UKCP accreditation to be a transpersonal psychotherapist with The Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education.
My aim is to nurture a person’s potential and we can work with any aspect of life. This can include considering a person’s health, career, creativity, spirituality and ways of relating.
I have a warm and non-judgemental way of working.
I am also a trained cognitive behaviour hypnotherapist and have trained in the following subjects as part of continuing professional development: mindfulness, brief solution focussed therapy, and CBT. I am a member of the REHBP ( Register of Evidence Based Hypno-psychotherapy)
A trainee member of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy)
I have a particular interests in working with people with long term physical and mental health conditions, bereavement and other life crises.
