Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
I offer a genuine, compassionate, and empathetic environment for us both to safely explore any difficulties you are experiencing. Together, we will make space for you to express your concerns fully, without judgement. We will work collaboratively, in accordance with your needs and goals. The approach I use is relational and integrative; I incorporate Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy models. I offer a safe and inclusive environment to all clients regardless of age (18+), ethnicity, gender, sexuality or disability. I also offer therapy in Portuguese.
I have extensive experience working with a range of issues and difficulties, including anxiety, depression, family issues, stress, burnout, and trauma. I specialise in life transitions and have an interest in menopause. Alongside my private practice, I also volunteer and work at Mind as part of my commitment to social responsibility.
I have a special interest in perimenopause and menopause. The transition can bring to the fore strong feelings and unprocessed emotions, leaving people feeling de-established. It can also affect relationships, careers, identity and quality of life. Psychotherapy can offer a supportive space to help you understand the physical and mental effects of the hormonal changes associated with this life transition.
It's important to find a therapist who you trust, who makes you feel heard, and who has the experience to help you make positive changes in your life. My introductory consultation offers you a 20-minute opportunity to discuss what brought you to therapy and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Contact me via email to book your free consultation.
