About me
I am a passionate therapist dedicated to empowering individuals and families through tailored support and guidance. With a deep understanding of neurodiversity and a commitment to breaking stigma, I have spent years working closely with a diverse range of clients, including young people and adults, to help them navigate their unique challenges and embrace their strengths. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a belief in the potential of every individual. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take control of their lives. Whether it's through one-on-one therapy, group sessions, or training programs, my goal is to provide practical, evidence-based strategies that promote self-acceptance, emotional regulation, and personal growth. I incorporate a sense of humour and a compassionate perspective, helping clients reflect on their past with kindness and understanding, and guiding them to move forward with a life authentically designed for who they are. Specialisations: Therapy for Neurodivergent and Diverse Individuals: My services support individuals who struggle with self-love, communication, and self-expression. I help clients manage their emotions, overcome trauma, and design fulfilling, authentic lives. This includes working with neurodivergent individuals as well as those facing anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Parent Support Programs: I offer specialized programs for parents seeking to better understand and support their children. These sessions provide strategies for building healthy relationships and fostering a supportive home environment, particularly for parents of teenage girls navigating unique challenges. Relationship and Identity Counseling: I support individuals exploring their identity, improving self-esteem, and building healthier relationships. This includes navigating complex emotions, enhancing social skills, and fostering meaningful connections with others. My Philosophy: I believe in a strengths-based approach to therapy, focusing on the gifts and potential of each individual. My work is about helping clients feel proud of who they are, accept themselves and their past with compassion, and build lives filled with love and light.
