Chris MatchamIntegrative psychotherapist
Therapy is for everyone, so I am currently offering sessions exclusively online, to all adults (women, men, LGBT+ or straight) who are struggling to be understood and feel they need to be heard.
I am an Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, meaning that I take thoughts from various schools of therapy to find a way of working that will suit you as the individual client.
My aim is to create a safe space for you to feel comfortable in talking about things that may have been difficult to express until now. Each person is an individual, and so our unique therapeutic relationship will be important in allowing you to express yourself honestly without any fear of judgement.
Counselling and psychotherapy can help with problems such as depression and anxiety, anger, addiction, work or family-related stress/trauma, or the loss of a loved one.
I specialise in dealing with bereavement and grief following the loss of something loved (person, animal, job etc.), the developing impacts of chronic illness on sufferers and their carers, and possibly subsequent questions related to disability.
Give me a call; I would like to talk to you, so that we can find your own path to feeling better.
