Dr Caroline Dunsmuir-White
Cognitive behaviour psychologistAbout Me
I'm an Independant Clinical Psychologist, offering assessment, understanding, and therapy to adults in Wakefield, Leeds, Castleford, Pontefract, and Normanton. Whether you are looking for help with low mood, anxiety, sleep, self-esteem, anger management, stress management, work-related issues, relationship/family problems, substance misuse, grief, hearing voices, or need some psychological support through a difficult time. Please contact me by email to discuss your needs further.
What you will experience
I provide a friendly, compassionate and relaxed atmosphere in which you can experience non-judgmental support and an impartial listening ear, as well as a space to think about how to make changes.
Together we will think about the problems you are experiencing and try to understand how these problems have arisen, what is maintaining them, and how we can help you to move forward. In order to do this we will use a number of therapeutic approaches and skills informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
In seeking a clinical psychologist, you will be able to talk about the difficulties you are experiencing at present, as well as learning coping strategies and new approaches to help you move forward and make positive changes, all whilst in a compassionate, supportive, and non-judgmental environment.
