I have always been a people person, with friends and family often telling me their problems and I was always being told that I should be a counsellor. It seemed the perfect solution, so I began my training and that was over 19 years ago. As part of my training I worked for Cruse Bereavement Care. I have experienced traumatic loss myself and even saw a therapist to help me overcome the pain of it, as I was in my early teens, I found I couldn't connect with the therapist and was unable to open up. This has really influenced how I work with my clients because I understand how hard it is to be honest about how your feeling with a stranger.

The Hypnotherapy training came later, and I love how quickly it can get to the heart of a problem without always having to dig through the past and rake over old feelings.

I love that I can offer a unique combination of therapies and my experience to my clients, meaning that they get exactly the help they need.

For years I worked in the foster system this often involved working and supporting  families in crisis. I wanted to do more . I dreamed of being able to help these families on a deeper level so they were able to break free from the cycles they were often caught up in.

I use a Humanistic approach. My aim is to relate to my clients with honesty. I offer flexible appointment times, a confidential healing space, easy parking, and a disabled friendly ground floor room.
