Integrative counsellorAbout Me
If you’d like to make a change or make sense of yourself, I can help. I firmly believe that you write your own life story. But sometimes it can feel hard to face things alone or make sense of the challenges life can present. This is where I can help. For me, the most rewarding part of what I do is seeing someone move to the joy of a flourishing life and mindset.
I support people with a range of issues including relationship difficulties, loss, loneliness, work challenges, issues around identity and transitions in life (such as children leaving home, retirement, post-divorce or break-up, coming out, changing career). Perhaps you have been thinking for a little while that it would be good to talk to someone in a confidential and safe space. We can all have times when we struggle - therapy and counselling do not need to be a last resort.
My private practice is in Urmston (M41); however, I do also see clients via Zoom or by phone. I also offer walk-and-talk therapy in the Trafford area. Please contact me for details about the measures I take to ensure in-person sessions are secure in terms of Covid-19.
I appreciate taking the first step and making contact with a counsellor can be daunting. It’s natural to feel uncomfortable or hesitant. You may have additional questions and I am happy to have a chat with you. If I am not right for you, I'm also very happy to speak with you about how you might find a counsellor or therapist for your needs.

Fees
I offer both daytime and evening sessions on Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Daytime sessions cost £50 and evening sessions (after 7pm) cost £60. Sessions are 50 minutes.
I have two places at a reduced rate for students and trainee counsellors / therapists. Please get in touch for further details. I ask for payment on or before the session by bank transfer.
I am very happy to have a chat or Zoom with you before booking first session so you can get a feel for me and so I can answer any questions you may have.
Training and qualifications
I am a qualified counsellor and am registered with the BACP.
My training includes GSRD (gender, sexuality and relationship diversity) and I have a particular interest in working with client who may be exploring any issuers around their identity, which includes transitions in life such as children leaving home, retirement and post-divorce.
My main way of working is person-centred, although I am also able to use a range of techniques and approaches. Some examples include coaching, transactional analysis and mindfulness techniques.
