I'm an accredited online Clinical Hypnotherapist with a background as a specialist nurse in oncology. I specialise in working with menopausal symptoms, cancer patients and carers, stress, anxiety (including health anxiety), low mood, pain management, insomnia, preparing surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy or scans, fears and phobias e.g.: needle phobia or claustrophobia and supporting with oncology treatment and side effects.

I also have a special interest and a wealth of experience in working with creatives. I’ve worked with performers, writers and artists who have not only reclaimed their voice and goals, but got back a real sense of enjoyment in the work and a renewed sense of purpose and direction.

I enjoy helping my clients to get clear about their desires and what’s standing in the way, so they can let go of what's not working and spend more time enjoying moving towards their goals. I have years of experience in mental health and oncology specialist nursing as well as complementary therapeutics including hypnotherapy and yoga.

I can provide specialist advice, support and signposting in sessions. I also have a special interest in carers and have supported hundreds over the years who may be feeling lost and isolated caring for a loved one with cancer, dementia, or mental illness for example.

My approach in session is both empathetic and focused, allowing you to develop your inner resources at your own pace. Having been trained in many areas including hypnotherapy approaches with CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic and Ericksonian I can work in a highly personalised way to suit you. I've also done specialist training in various areas of women's health including breast health and menopause. 

I’ve often been told my voice, and the way I deliver hypnosis is extremely relaxing and “like a spa for the mind”.
