Psychotherapy is a talking and listening therapy with strong boundaries and I never underestimate that talking to a stranger can be an incredibly daunting prospect. I am a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist with a wealth of experience working with people who at times feel stuck and need help and understanding to navigate such issues as anxiety, depression, burn out and the effects of psychological trauma caused by life events like bereavement, separation and abuse. I work with people to think about how their past experiences may be shaping how they are experiencing their current circumstances and feelings.
I offer a confidential space, where together we can begin to think about and make sense of difficult feelings and thoughts which are stopping you moving forward. I work in-person or online and offer either once weekly, open ended psychotherapy or time-limited brief therapy consisting of twelve sessions.
Everyone needs to connect with their psychotherapist. You may be understandably nervous about talking to a complete stranger about your innermost thoughts. This is the reason why I offer a free discovery call in the first instance. You don't have to cope alone. The first step is often the hardest. Reach out today if you feel I might be able to help.
