About Me
My clients know me for my warmth, understanding and my natural optimism. I am able to connect in a real and authentic way and make my clients feel at ease. I frequently hear that my clients leave my therapy room with a spring in their step. Many of my clients feel safe enough to talk about issues they were never able to talk about before. They tell me that I have a really deep understanding of the individual’s needs whether within a couple therapy or within one-to-one work.
Many of my clients experience me as speaking with wisdom, which comes from the wealth of knowledge and life experience. They say I am a great listener but also I am able to make sense of their feelings that they have never been able to communicate in a logical or rational way. Clients are frequently surprised how things are changing. I tend to mobilize client’s strengths and resources to facilitate their ability to solve their problems.
Although some topics might be difficult I don’t avoid talking about it but approach it respectfully paying particular attention to my client’s pace.
I am flexible in my approach and tend to adjust therapy to bring about the best result or the most effective change. My approach is led by my client’s needs. I work in a balanced way, identifying and helping clients in disentangling complex problems, but always assisting them to recognize and draw from their own internal resources. I work organically and constructively in supporting clients to find positive growth strategies.
