I am an experienced counsellor and both a registered and accredited member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) working in Camden, North London and I have spent many years developing in this field.
My approach is person-centred, which means I respect the ability within all of us to grow and develop to be who we fully are, given the right growth conditions for us to do this.
This requires a unique kind of relationship and an authentic and transparent way of communicating as the basis for self exploration.
By tuning into how you are feeling, together we shape the meaning behind what you're experiencing. In this way you can move around freely and start to join the dots to better understand the deeper layers of any difficulties. It's simple, yet it can have a powerful effect.
Importantly you will not be judged and so you'll discover a freedom to express those emotions & thoughts we're not 'supposed' to express, finding all facets of yourself being accepted.
Once you are able to move freely in your experience emotions surface, new understanding emerges and with this movement comes change, self acceptance and a growing self knowledge that gives you more resilience to live how you truly want, beyond the expectations of others.
Clients come to see me about all sorts of things. It could be you're in a crisis of some kind, maybe a relationship break up, a bereavement or an issue with someone that's really affecting your self confidence.
It could be that you're making a significant change in your life and you need extra support to help you through it. Or perhaps you want to meet with me as part of developing a deeper sense of being well in yourself. Therapy is all about having a place for self exploration.
Whatever it is you will find a welcoming space where you will have the freedom to do what you need to do.

Issues often worked with
Room sessions (50 minutes) - £65, located at Torriano Avenue, 5 minutes walk from Kentish Town underground station. My room is a comfortable engaging space, large enough to allow for adequate distancing.
Online and telephone sessions (50 minutes) - £60. Some people enjoy the flexibility of being in their home during sessions.
Outdoor sessions (1 hour) - £60. Some people feel more free outdoors. I offer early morning sessions on Hampstead Heath. I have certain routes that I have developed over time and I am experienced to know how to safely manage the sessions so they still feel contained.
Some concessions available, weekdays early afternoon.

I have worked with many different people from all backgrounds, diverse cultures, different sexualities and ages. This lies at the heart of what I do. Each of us are unique and every session brings something new. Everyone is welcome.
I believe the wellbeing of our bodies is strongly linked to our emotional being. I have practiced Tai Chi and Qigong for many years. This helps me to be more present in myself, a vital aspect of being more present with others. I also work alongside body therapists, principally acupuncture, Alexander technique and shiatsu.
