Anita Gaspar
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
I offer a respectful and confidential space in which to explore your life and talk about your current concerns. I will not give advice or judge you, but listen carefully and attempt, through my questions and reflections, to help you make sense of your situation and identify opportunities for change. Sessions last 50 minutes and, at the moment, all sessions take place online, usually via Zoom.
As an integrative therapist, I have been trained in a range of theories and approaches which I incorporate into my work. In practical terms, this means that I see every client as an individual and seek to find a way of working that feels right for each one. Some of the approaches that influence my work are: psychodynamic, existential, relational, Jungian, attachment theory and humanistic.
I have worked with a wide range of clients of different ages and backgrounds, including many whose first language is not English. These are some of the areas that I have had experience of dealing with: relationship problems, anxiety, life transitions, feeling different, divorce, bereavement, depression, loneliness, exploration of identity, sexuality, life crisis, low self-esteem, desire to understand dreams.
