Anita DayPerson-centred/humanistic counsellor
Collectively and globally, we are experiencing grief from the COVID-19 pandemic, "...a disruption that has brought grief to some, financial difficulties to many, and enormous changes to the daily lives of us all," according to the Queen's speech.
If you need help navigating the changes in your life, I am here to help.
I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor, a registered member of the BACP, and I hold professional indemnity insurance so you can be assured you are in safe hands. I have 2 years experience counselling in a range of agencies voluntarily - from young people counselling, to general counselling, and also specialist counselling in alcohol/substance misuse and childhood sexual abuse.
Prior to joining the counselling world, I was a senior manager in a third-party logistics company, whereby among other things I developed and coached my team to progress. I get great satisfaction from seeing other people succeeding and achieving their goals.
How I work:
I offer you the space to dig deep into what has been troubling you, how this has impacted your life, and help you find a deeper sense of what you are like as a person.
Types of therapy:
Traditional therapy right now is not being offered, am providing social distancing therapy. This can be accomplished by walking therapy (using phones/headsets at the same time), video therapy online through zoom or doxy.me or through telephone counselling. Once it is safe to do so, I will be available to book in person in Nottingham.
OnlineI also provide my services online.
