About Me

I offer a non-judgemental, safe environment to help you understand yourself and your life. Counselling can support you to find your own insights, new ways of being with yourself and others, and work towards healing and freedom. It can be a space to get things off your chest, rest or reset, find perspective and understanding in life and relationships, as well as having someone to really hear and be with you as you share and explore what is difficult.

Counselling can help with a variety of issues, some of the areas I work with are: anxiety, depression, stress management, bereavement, long term illness, relationship issues, spirituality and loss/change of identity. You are free to bring any experience or issues that are important to you for us to work with. I have had training in supporting people given different mental health diagnoses to help process and understand experiences that may be challenging.

I also offer counselling for couples, giving you both time and space to be heard by each other, introducing different communication styles and working through things as they arise. We can explore how your personal issues affect the way you relate, and how best to support each other in your relationship.

My practice is informed by Buddhist philosophy and meditation, which I have been exploring and supporting others with for over 15 years, emphasising embodied awareness and compassion. This helps me to stay present and offer different ways of being with experience.

I am taking on new clients for both face-to-face sessions with social distancing maintained and online for those who prefer. I am happy to talk to you about different ways of communicating online and help with setting this up, as well as transitioning back to face-to-face if you would like when this feels right for you.

I am also offering some reduced rate spaces available for those who have lost work or been financially affected by COVID-19. Please contact me for more information.
