Hello, My name is Angela and I am a qualified and registered counsellor in Hove. Coming to see a counsellor can feel like a big step. Speaking about our struggles is not easy, and can still be taboo in many ways. I feel strongly that people can access support when needed. There is only so much we can manage on our own and sometimes our closest relationships are too close to help us see more clearly. Counselling offers a reflective space to explore aspects of your life or patterns that seem to repeat.

I work “integratively”, which means I can work with a number of different approaches to suit your individual needs. I take a collaborative role by offering my skills and knowledge to support you in finding your way forward. We will also think about how we relate to each other in therapy, and how this might link to relationships you have in your daily life.

It is important that you find the right counsellor for you and I would encourage you to shop around. I offer an introductory session so you can get a sense of whether you would like to start working together. I see clients in welcoming and confidential rooms close to the big Tesco in Hove.
