Hi, I'm Andreea, a Psychosynthesis Counsellor based in West London. I work mainly with people who struggle with anxiety, social interactions, identity, depression, low self confidence and low self-esteem.

Every human being deserves to feel loved, safe and live their lives in freedom and truth; to have authentic and loving relationships; to feel confident, and embrace their creativity and full potential. And that includes you too. Therapy can help you to accept and love the whole of you, even the parts that might feel ugly, awkward or unlovable.

How I work

Psychosynthesis is a unique blend of psychology and undogmatic spirituality. It’s a transpersonal model, and it consists of talking therapy and creative techniques that can help you explore your challenges and your inner world. I see your challenges and struggles as something that is trying to emerge in your life and not as diseases that need curing. Because every human being is unique, I use whatever I feel is useful and needed in our work together, and am not limited to using set techniques. I work intuitively; so, depending on the situation, apart from talking therapy I might also use images, symbols, dream exploration, drawing, guided imagery, and mindfulness meditation.


My journey as a counsellor

Like everyone else, I’m human. I’ve been through both wonderful and difficult experiences that have shaped who I am and how I see the world. I worked in Finance for ten years, until I decided to follow my passion for self-development and mental health; I became a Psychosynthesis Counsellor. My passion is fuelled by my own experiences growing up, as I struggled with mental health issues myself. Personal therapy helped me to explore and fall in love with various parts of myself that felt awkward and unlovable; to become aware of the naratives in my life and how they affect my interactions with other people; to become more present and connected to my body, feelings, and mind; to learn how to deal with and tolerate the lows of life, not just to enjoy the ups. I aim to guide other humans who want to embark on their therapy journey.

Next steps

Our first session

Once you contact me, we will schedule a session as soon as possible. Finding the right therapist for you is important, and the first session gives us both the opportunity to find out if we are a good match. You can share a bit more about your struggles, your background, and your expectations of therapy. You can also ask any questions that you might have about me and how I work. By the end of the session, we can determine if I am the right therapist for you.


When we decide to start working together, we will have a written agreement in which you can find out more about the confidentiality and cancellation terms. I suggest a number of 6 weekly sessions; this will give you more time to see how you feel about our therapeutic relationship. After that, if you decide to continue therapy, we will do that in an open-ended contract.

Training and qualifications

I have a Level 7 Postgraduate Degree in Psychosynthesis Counselling.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and, I adhere to their Framework. I have regular Supervision, I am fully insured and, I am committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
