Amy Thompson
Transactional analysis therapistAbout Me
I work in a non-judgemental way and follow the TA philosophy that everyone has value and is worthy of respect, everyone has the capacity to think and people decide their own destiny and can make changes to their life path.
I am offering Zoom, Skype or telephone sessions for the duration of the lockdown. I usually offer 50-minute talk therapy 1:1 sessions, located in a peaceful, warm and inviting garden room. I offer both daytime and evening sessions. (Please contact for up to date slots available)
I have a therapy dog, who is registered with 'Pets As Therapy'. He is an optional (and free of charge) addition to your sessions available on request.
What to expect from therapy:
The sessions will be tailored to fit your needs, and we will work together to create a safe space so you can process your feelings and thoughts and to explore your personal growth at your pace.
We can work together on a long-term or short-term basis depending on your requirements and can discuss this together in our initial taster session.
Therapy is about client and therapist working together as equals to create a space for insight, self-empowerment and, as a result, positive change.

Please contact me (07413 927071 / [email protected] ) to request a free initial chat over the phone (approx 15-20 mins). During this call, I will answer any questions you may have about your therapy and discuss whether you would like to come for an initial trial session.
Our initial session will be time to go through details to allow you to make a decision about committing to ongoing weekly sessions. Sessions thereafter will be 50 minutes long at the same time each week for either a set number of sessions or on an open-ended basis.
