About Me

During challenging times, it's important to find the right support when processing events, thoughts and feelings in a safe space with someone you feel comfortable. You are welcome to send over any questions via message before booking to find out how you would like to work together. In an initial session, we can discuss what it is that you would like to work towards or have a single counselling session with a supportive listening space.

If you're struggling to be heard, understood or looking to move towards resourceful parts of yourself, I offer various tools based on what works for you and your situation. Counselling, psychotherapy and coaching is a unique process for each individual, which is why an integrative approach looks at where you're at, your preferences and finding out what works best for you in the therapeutic process. With events happening on personal, social and global levels, people may find parts of themselves responding differently to these events, and that's OK.

How I work with video/telephone counselling and psychotherapy:

Sessions are held online via Zoom or over the phone. All calls are held in a private and secure space and it's welcome to go for walks whilst on our phone sessions if it means finding a private space for yourself.

Related Experience and Training:

Previous client feedback:

"Thank you so much for the call today it really has helped, Amanda. I haven’t met you, but what you do and how you do it is amazing. Thanks again for the support and the encouragement that everything is and will be okay. Never had help like this before you truly are awesome. Speak next week, many thanks."

"My counsellor was excellent; I was extremely lucky to have her to talk to every week. She was a great listener, framed my thoughts in a way which helped me understand my perspective in different ways, and genuinely made me feel so much happier after each phone call. I found that after the initial session, I was really looking forward to feeding back to her how I had found the week before…
It has really helped me focus on the positive aspects of myself and my life, renewing my gratitude for simple things. The woman who I spoke to (her name was Amanda) was genuinely one of the most helpful, supportive counsellors I have ever met. The whole experience felt very personal and led by me and the goals I wanted to achieve with our time. She was really helpful and I am extremely grateful for all her help."
