I’m Alex, an LGBTQ+ therapist working from practice rooms in central London. I offer relationship, couples and individual therapy, both in-person and online.

There are many reasons you might be seeking relationship therapy, such as navigating a crisis or better understanding unfulfilling patterns of behavior, or addressing issues specific to the LGBTQ+ communities. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to discuss whatever challenges you may be facing and wish to explore.

In a similar way to individual therapy, you may be having feelings of anxiety or depression which impact you and your partner or partners. Or you may wish come to therapy because something doesn’t feel quite right in your relationship and you want help better understanding what that is.

When working with clients, I see my role as not to “fix” the relationship, but rather to provide a collaborative way of working where we can figure things out together, and for those in the relationship to find a healing path forward. This may involve talking about patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving both inside and outside the relationship. 

Therapy can be a difficult journey at times requiring a great deal of work and commitment. It can also be hugely rewarding. Choosing a therapist who is right for you and your relationship can feel a bit daunting, I suggest finding someone you feel at ease with, and with whom you get a sense of being able to build trust with over time.
