About me
I am a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with a deep commitment to supporting children, young people, and families. With years of experience in both educational and clinical settings, I bring a compassionate, child-centred approach to my work. I specialise in working with neurodivergent individuals, including children and young people with autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities, but my practice is open to all young people facing emotional, psychological, or developmental challenges. My approach is grounded in a trauma-informed, attachment-based framework, aiming to foster emotional regulation, resilience, and self-awareness. Through my extensive training at the Tavistock Clinic’s Autism and Learning Disability Team, I have developed significant expertise in providing tailored, long-term therapy to neurodivergent children, as well as supporting their families through systemic interventions. I also have experience working with children facing issues such as trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and social challenges. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where children and young people can express their feelings and begin to understand their emotional experiences. Additionally, I work closely with parents and families, offering guidance and support to help them better understand and navigate their child’s unique emotional needs. Whether it's helping a child manage the stresses of school or guiding a family through challenging transitions, my goal is to provide practical tools and support that encourage emotional growth and well-being. If you’re seeking a therapist who is both knowledgeable and empathetic, someone who listens with patience and works collaboratively with families, I’d love to support you on your journey. Visit my website at www.therapywithzia.com for more information on the services I offer and how I can help your family or child thrive.

Training and qualifications
I hold a Clinical Master’s in Psychological Therapies with Children, Young People, and Families, along with a Postgraduate Certificate in Child, Adolescence, and Family Mental Well-being. My clinical training took place at the Tavistock Clinic, where I worked in the Autism and Learning Disability Team, and in Primary Schools supporting children through emotional challenges, trauma, and key life transitions. I offer a child-centred, individually tailored approach that meets each young person and family where they are. I am also registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists (TSP).
