About me
My name is Lucy, and I'm an experienced Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I can you offer you a safe, comfortable and welcoming space to freely discuss and explore things that you may not feel able to do with family and friends. Perhaps your life taken a turn or direction you are not happy with, or you might have tough choices to make. Maybe you can’t quite put your finger on why you feel unhappy or dissatisfied, but you know that something’s not right. The benefits of counselling vary from person to person, but you may find: - You gain a new clarity or self-understanding - A growth in your self esteem - You are able to process painful experiences or emotions - Feelings of being stuck finally begin to shift My Humanistic training means that I believe that we all have the capacity for growth, healing and change within us – so my aim will be to help you find your own path. Together we will unravel and make sense of your experience, thoughts and emotions, and gently explore different perspectives and possibilities. Our work together will be collaborative – I will be there alongside you as we move your life in a direction that is right for you. Though I have supported clients with many different issues, I have particular experience in postnatal issues and motherhood, anxiety, relationship patterns, loss, self esteem and issues surrounding eating and food. However whatever your own personal and unique struggle, I am ready to listen and offer you support and guidance. Feel free to contact me and ask whether your particular experiences are something I can help you with.
