Over ten years I have worked both in private practice and in a variety of roles both voluntary and as an employed therapist. I work with adults of all ages and my approach is to work with the person in the room rather with the issues they might bring. By exploring and being curious together about how you are connecting with the world and with others, we create the conditions for change, growth and recovery. I have worked with those who are grieving, those who are feeling anxious and stressed, or who are struggling at work or at home or facing difficulties with life transitions such as parenthood, loss, divorce, retirement, or menopause. Sometimes people come to therapy to gain a deeper understanding of who they are or to improve their relationships or to make an important decision. I have worked in the NHS, in a peri-natal mental health charity, in a leading adult education college, with parents in a leading schools counselling service and in an adult Psychotherapy service with complex and enduring mental health needs often related to trauma. I am BACP accredited and UKCP registered and engage in regular CPD to update my knowledge. I have completed numerous trainings at the London Gestalt Centre and the Minster Centre London. My MA focussed on the emotional response to climate change and I consider my practice to be climate aware.
