Veronika Kloucek Integrative therapist , NW3
I am an integrative therapist, a registered member of BACP, a mindfulness teacher and a senior yoga teacher. My special interest is in mindfulness for the treatment of anxiety and depression.
Most of my private work is open-ended but my work within the NHS is solution-focussed, short-term therapy and private clients can request this too.
I offer a non-judgmental, safe and confidential space in which you can explore various aspects of your life and talk openly about thoughts and feelings in a way which might not be possible with friends or family. Talking through past experience and present relationships can yield insight into unhelpful ways of living and bring about meaningful change.
My roots are in Freud’s Vienna and I have family connections to Austria, Italy, Germany and the UK. My thinking is based on an embodied mind and the integrative approach allows me to combine traditional therapeutic ideas with contemporary findings from neurobiology and evidence-based models such as CBT. In this way therapy is tailored to suit your needs, rather than you fitting into a method.
I have 10 years’ experience running groups for personal development. Therapeutically I worked with clients experiencing anxiety and depression, abuse, bereavement, complex and enduring mental health issues, eating disorders, emotional difficulties, low self-esteem, mood disorders, panic attacks, personality disorders, PTSD, relationship problems, self-harm, sex addiction, stress management, suicidal thoughts and trauma.
How to get started?
The best way to get started is to email or call for an initial confidential consultation to consider your needs and think together about the way forward.
