Veronica Toescu Person-centred/humanistic psychotherapist , B13
I am on annual leave 26th February - 26th March 2018
I am a Humanistic Person-centred Therapist (UKCP registered, Registered Member BACP) working in Birmingham, West Midlands.
I hold an MA (Master in Arts) in Humanistic Person-centred Psychotherapy from the University of Birmingham and graduate member of the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute in Nottingham.
Myprofessional orientation in psychotherapy is Humanistic - a belief that each individual has an inner drive to fulfill their potential and Person-centred - based on the values and principles of the person-centred approach which creates the necessary environment to encourage the development and expression of each individual capacity for autonomy, self-determination, empowerment and, ultimately, personal growth. My work is guided by the client’s experience.
In the dialogue established during therapy, the different psychological components (thoughts, emotion, behaviour, physical and spiritual presence) that determine a person to seek therapy are equally attended to. Assessment and establishing realistic goals are an on-going component of my work.
I have an up to date Professional Indemnity Insurance and enhanced CRB check .
In order to ensure I practice according to the professional guidelines I see a supervisor regularly and this work is based on confidentiality helping me maintain a high quality in my work.
