About Me

When I lost my sight, I felt that I needed to talk to someone who had also experienced losing something which had changed their life.  This is why, once I was able to accept my loss, I decided I would become a counsellor to provide support for other people who have experienced any type of loss in their life. I gained the relevant qualifications that are needed to become a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and because of my own life experiences, I believe I am able to provide a genuinely open, warm, confidential and empathic space for all my clients.

I now enjoy working with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and live it more fully.

Coming to counselling can be a major decision so our first appointment will be an assessment of what brought you to counselling and what you hope to achieve. It also gives us the opportunity to decide if we would like to work together. What’s more, this session invites you to ask any questions or raise any fears you may have about counselling.
