Dr Natalie Raiher Integrative psychologist , NW6
Frequently during the course of living, we are faced with challenges that can be difficult to overcome on your own. For over a decade, I have been working therapeutically with people to help them establish a greater sense of coherence and vitality in their lives. Located in a discreet clinic in West Hampstead, I provide a confidential and creative space to support adults and young people to regain a sense of ownership and movement in their lives.
I am an integrative Chartered Counselling Psychologist, trained to doctoral level. I work using a variety of therapeutic models including cognitive-behavioural therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, compassion focussed therapy and mindfulness. The merit of my approach is that each course of therapy is tailored to the specific needs of each client. I work both in the realm of making sense of things and also with practical tools and techniques to help people to shift when feeling stuck, or stabilize when life feels overwhelming.
I work with a wide range of difficulties including anxiety and depression, stress and burnout, self-esteem and interpersonal problems, and pre- and post-natal problems. My career has spanned NHS, private and community settings. This broad base of experience has led me to work not only with the symptoms of distress but also the life-worlds that people inhabit. As a result, I have a keen interest in the impact of working life on people.
I am registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and I am an accredited member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I divide my time between The Nightingale Hospital in Marylebone and my private practice.
