About Me

Hello, I'm Matthew and I work in Ealing Broadway.

We all seek therapy for different reasons. Often it is because we feel stuck, overwhelmed or hurt. We hope we can find some calm. As a psychotherapist and counsellor, I aim to meet you in places like these and help you to grow in whichever way you feel is right. I won't tell you what to do, but will assist you in contacting the part of you that knows what you need.

Sometimes that need is just having someone to talk with.

As well as practicing counselling and psychotherapy indoors, I am also trained in "Wild Therapy". If working outdoors is something that interests you or you would like any more information about this approach, please let me know.

You can contact me directly through Welldoing.org, or via my website - www.matthewdunntherapy.com

Fees

I charge £60 per session, with some lower-cost appointments available for students or those on a limited income. Sessions usually last for 50 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged.

I charge £75 for sessions with couples, with sessions lasting one hour.

Regrettably, the room I work in is not accessible for wheelchair users. There is parking nearby at the Broadway Shopping Centre and also street parking.

Training and qualifications

I have 6 years of experience of working as a counsellor and over 14 years experience of working 1-2-1 in the helping professions.

I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from The Minster Centre in London and a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (Level 7) from The Minster Centre and Middlesex University.

As well as working within private practice, I have wide experience of working as a counsellor in different settings including Higher Education, the NHS, with staff and parents in schools, and in a charity. I have experience of short-term and long-term work.
