Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
You might be struggling with something difficult in your life in the here and now, such as the loss of a loved one, or a relationship breakdown. Or maybe you feel trapped in a cycle of repeated disappointments with partners, friends and careers and don’t know why. Perhaps you’re aware of vague, ongoing feelings of sadness, anxiety or anger.
Whether you know what the problem is, or even if you don’t, therapy can help. It’s an opportunity to explore yourself; to examine feelings, thoughts and motivations and gain understanding - the first step towards navigating a different, happier course.
The therapy world can feel mysterious. A previous career outside the profession helps keep my feet on the ground and in touch with the world outside psychotherapy where problems are not just theoretical. You’ll find me reliably compassionate and understanding of you and life’s struggles.
As well as being in private practice in Bath, I’ve also worked as:
- Music therapist with Somerset Partnership NHS Trust
- Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with the Time to Talk charity in West Berkshire

Therapy is based on relationship - that between you and your therapist. It’s a path along which you travel together so it’s important you choose the right person. But that only means right for you.
An exploratory ‘getting to know you’ consultation is therefore a sensible place to begin so you can decide whether to continue. We’ll talk about what you want to talk about; you won’t be grilled, interrogated or assessed. The objective is to get a sense of one another and whether there’s potential for trust.
A first exploratory session fee is £25.00. Ongoing fees are £45.00 per 50 minute session.
