About Me

You may be looking here because you are worried about your child, teenager or young person. We all face problems in our lives that affect our emotional wellbeing which may then impact on family and friendships. Children and young people are no different. Unfortunately for them, issues may arise at particularly challenging periods in their lives such as GCSEs, A levels or university. Counselling can help at these confusing times.

Apart from traditional talking therapy, I offer other ways of working using creative media, such as art materials and sand tray activities. This works particularly well with younger children who can often struggle to understand what feelings they are experiencing.

The first assessment session with you and your person is free, with no obligation on you to return. The session can last up to an hour and a half, where we discuss your concerns and what you hope to gain from counselling. It also allows us all to see if we can work together.
