PsychologistAbout Me
About me:
I am a UK trained, HCPC registered, Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years experience in treating mental health issues. I currently work in an NHS mental health service alongside my private practice. In my private practice I offer psychological assessment and treatment to people over 18 years of age. I work with a range of difficulties and have a special interest in helping clients manage anxiety and depression/low mood.
I draw on many different psychological models and therapies to inform my work, including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy and psychodynamic approaches.
I believe in empowering clients to make changes in their lives. I work in a compassionate, respectful and professional way. I emphasise to clients that therapy is collaborative, and we work as a team to move the client towards their goals.
