Dr Lisa Alfrey
Integrative psychologistAbout Me
My experience has been varied from long term therapy with adults in a community counselling setting to long term play therapy work with children in schools. I have experience with short term therapy from working in the NHS within GP practices, Harley St oncology department and for various charities around London. I am a registered Cigna, WPA and AXA PPP Healthcare provider.
My theoretical approach is integrative. I combine cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), humanistic, existential phenomenological and psychodynamic models in my therapeutic work with clients. In all my therapeutic work, I abide by the ethical codes of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I am, also, a member of the British Psychological Society.
In the past, I worked for Bupa health and Wellbeing delivering launch programmes nationwide and in the Psychological Services Trauma Team.
