I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from Minster Centre, London, one of the oldest and most respected integrative training courses in the UK. As part of this training I engaged in my own personal therapy for over 10 years and so am intimately aware of what it is like to be a client.

As Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) I abide by their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

Working integratively means that I take the whole person into account.  Attending to the experience of the body, mind and heart encourages wellbeing.  Likewise, looking at our past can help us understand our present, which in turn can empower us to make choices about the kind of future we want.

I work relationally, which means that I believe the relationship between client and therapist is of utmost importance. A warm, safe and trusting relationship provides a base from which to explore whatever it is that brings you to therapy.

Looking for a therapist is a daunting task. It’s a brave step, talking someone you don’t know about the intimate parts of your life, your fears, your grief, thoughts or habits that are holding you back. I recognise this and deeply respect the step you are taking.
