Hello, my name is Karen Lambert and I am a qualified counsellor working in Yalding, near Maidstone.  My approach to counselling is open, honest and down-to-earth and I am a firm believer in the good that counselling can do.  If you feel overwhelmed by life or have a particular issue you'd like to solve, then talking to me could help - I'm not a family member or a friend so you can be honest with me without the fear of being judged.  I will offer you 50 minutes of my undivided attention, focusing on how I can help you explore what is going on for you and what you want to do about it.  I offer both short and long term therapy, concentrating on how your past may be affecting your current situation or  focusing on a current problem and how to resolve it.  My particular areas of expertise are bereavement counselling, helping clients with anxiety and depression, past traumas and relationship issues.
