Integrative counsellorAbout Me
Sometimes life’s challenges can feel overwhelming and hard to manage and it’s difficult to know what to do and where to turn to. Here is where counselling can help but it can feel like taking a huge and sometimes scary step in booking that first appointment.
Let me see if I can help you make that step into counselling. What I can offer you is my long standing experience as a counsellor in a setting that is calm, confidential, non -judgemental and warm feeling so that you can talk about the difficulties that you are facing in your life.
Thinking in terms of myself and how I work I would describe myself as a qualified and very experienced counsellor based and working in the Crawley area.
I am experienced in working and helping my clients with a wide range of issues including anxiety, loss, low mood and depression, stress, personal development, life stages and relationship issues.
In addition I have worked with clients interested in building their self- confidence and resilience and looking at different life stages such as becoming a parent and the changing needs of being a mother or father to ever growing children, ‘ empty nest’ feelings and menopause.
I have been qualified and practising as a counsellor since 2003 and I hold a BACP Accredited Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. My way of working is termed Integrative which means that I can draw upon different types of therapeutic approaches to meet the individual needs of my clients.
I am also a registered member of BACP and abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Over the years I have worked in different locations in West Sussex as a counsellor including dedicated counselling services, NHS counselling services and Schools. I have decided mostly to work in Crawley and Horsham as I feel by working and living locally that I am in touch with the issues and difficulties that are around for local people
My practice is situated in a quiet area of Crawley with free on street parking available .I can offer my clients a range of appointment times covering day and evening appointments and I can offer sessions on a long or short term basis as required.

My usual fee is £40 per 50 minute session but I do have some concessionary spaces available for clients who otherwise might find it difficult to access counselling
