About Me

As an experienced counsellor I can help you look into and resolve what is troubling you at the moment - both the immediate causes and the underlying issues that are making it difficult for you to make progress.

I work in a Person-Centred way, which means that I believe you are the expert on your life, I will not tell you what to do but will instead guide you to find the solutions which exist within yourself. To do this we will explore your current situation and your past, but I will do this in a non-judgemental way and at a pace which suits you.

I have experience working with bereavement, relationship issues, social issues and problems at work, including redundancy and coping with difficult work environments. In addition to working privately I have worked for a number of years at a hospice helping bereaved relatives and some patients.

I am a registered member of the BACP and abide by it's code of ethics.
