Gavin Conn Integrative counsellor , WC1X
There are many strands of counselling theory. I am trained and workwithin several of them. This allows you to be the central focus of your therapy: instead of making you fit a theory or approach we will work together to explore your inner world. In turn this brings insight for understanding and resolution.
Each therapy session lasts fifty minutes. The first meeting is £30 and £60 thereafter. Concessions are available (at King's Cross only) for students, low waged/unemployed and NHS staff. Please do mention in our first session if you would like to negotiate the fee.
The practices are located in East Dulwich/Peckham Rye and also on the edge of King's Cross, Islington and Clerkenwell. The address is provided when booking an appointment.
I work within an Ethical Framework laid down by my governing body, The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy which I will discuss with you before we start on the therapeutic journey.
You can call me or email me, whichever form of contact you feel comfortable with. You are free to ask me any questions and from that make a decision as to whether you would like to arrange a meeting.
Before calling, think about the practical aspect. For example have to hand a few dates and times that would suit you (evenings and weekend appointments available). I will note these and check room availability. I will then email or call (as you prefer) with confirmation.
The phone calls or emails are confidential. Please let me know if it is ok to leave a message.
