Transpersonal psychotherapistAbout Me
Making a decision to come for therapy can stir up a lot of emotions, choosing a therapist that is right for you can be even more challenging. But like everything else in life, it takes courage to make that first step, and as we progress, the answer of what feels right for you will often emerge. This is the process of therapy, you may feel anxious, uncertain or even confused about what may happen in the therapy room, but challenging it and staying with it is the beginning of the therapeutic process.
I am a qualified heart-felt, relational psychotherapist (awaiting full UKCP membership), I have been seeing clients since 2017 under the professional guidance of UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). Building a connection and relationship with my clients is the utmost importance in my practice. Coming to therapy can be a very vulnerable experience where clients fear feeling exposed and judged. I work with you to build a safe environment where you learn to trust to be in my loving presence, allow me to walk along side you through your life journey and together we face your challenges, whatever it might be.

Training and qualifications
I trained as an integrative transpersonal psychotherapist. Transpersonal therapy can be interpreted in many different ways. What it means for me is a form of therapy that combines the mind, body and soul. I work with you by peeling off your layers of life conditioning, expectations, identify beliefs and “stories” that may not be yours to carry, together we work to find your true essence and unfulfilled potential that are already within you; it is in our essence that we feel solid and empowered. Depending on your needs, I work in a variety of ways including creative imagination, dreams, role-play, visualisation and mindfulness.
A little bit more....
Having the courage to take on life challenges has been a living embodiment in my life. Courage is what led me to move country from Taiwan at the age of 12 and a change of career after 13 years of working in advertising. Courage does not come without fear; it is embracing fear, relishing life’s insecurity and trust that it will be ok, and that is scary. I have a keen interest in human consciousness where I believe when we can live a more conscious life, we will make different life choices which is in line with our hearts desires. When we can allow spaciousness to enter into our lives, things become clearer, we become clearer. Consciousness allows us to break free from the mind limitation we bind ourselves to. I truly believe that we owe it to ourselves in this life time to be curious, just to see what is truly possible for us, and that takes courage. As your therapist, I am the mirror for you to reflect, a chance for introspection, discovery and growth.
