About Me

I’ve spent most of my adult life working with – and giving support to – people of all ages. In business, in care and at home.

I have two degrees in Psychology and Psychotherapy and am a member of the British Psychology Society.

My psychotherapeutic approach would be described as existential counselling. This allows me to work in a practical and grounded way where issues can be dealt with on a straightforward level. The importance here is that my client always makes their own decisions about the way forward.

My experience includes:

providing private, individual counselling and psychotherapy

providing counselling and psychotherapy for NHS patients

working with businesses providing coaching and support for senior executives; managers and employees

working with HR services to provide assessment of employees and providing solutions for conflict resolution

setting up and running a psychotherapy service for people in the local community

working in hospitals with people with acute problems and Day Centres providing community services
