Welcome. I recognise that it may be a daunting experience to enter a therapeutic space, seeking a therapist. Someone who you will feel able to trust with your thoughts, feelings and most private challenges, with the hope of reaching a resolution and feeling more yourself.

I am a qualified psychotherapist with a broad integrative training which has informed my focus on relationship:-

- with yourself (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual)

- your intimate relationships

- your family

- your work and any other relational aspects of life

Individual Therapy - My areas of specific clinical interest include identity, search for meaning and relational issues with oneself; in the workplace; with parent(s); with body image; with food; with life transitions; with our beliefs; with our roles in life.

Couple Therapy - In couple therapy, the relationship is the client. It is recognised as an entity with its own personality and dynamic. This means that the couple will always be seen together and not individually as an integral aspect of this therapeutic approach.

It is not an accident why we choose the partners we do, and the reason for this may be more than is obvious to you. Couple therapy can be very effective for those seeking to improve communication or resolve an issue in the relationship. Or simply for those who wish to deepen their intimacy and commitment.

My therapeutic services are offered online (via a secure therapeutic platform) and in-person by in Rickmansworth/Chorleywood WD3 area; Amersham; Chesham; South West Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire borders. Please note that couples therapy is offered only as an in-person therapy.

I adhere to the BACP code of ethics and strict professional guides relating to client confidentiality. This is important for all clients to be aware of as a structure of the containment and boundaries of our work together to establish trust and a private space to be open with your thoughts and feelings.

Training and qualifications

As a commitment to the psychological significance of 'relationship', I am undertaking a post-qualification diploma in Transpersonal Couples Counselling and Psychotherapy. This area of therapy is not regulated yet and so not all therapists offering couples therapy have undertaken this specialist training.

 Clinical experience

As well as my private practice, my clinical experience spans workplace counselling for a private psychological services organisation, university student wellbeing counselling, a women’s health charity and a non-profit therapeutic service for children using play therapy.

My former career as an HR Director informs my interest in work-affected areas of wellbeing – you can learn more about my background and approach on my website.

Individual Fee per session range £50 - £65 depending on location

Couples Fee per session £65 (low cost and in-person only)

I offer an initial telephone consultation at no cost and a fee per session thereafter which is discussed as part of the proposed client contract and will also depend on timing considerations. Concessions considered upon request.

All sessions are on a weekly date and time which becomes your time and it is an important part of the therapeutic work that there is a mutual commitment to attending this weekly session.
