About Me

Have you hit rock bottom? Do you feel you can't stop worrying? Are you afraid of losing your temper? I can help you overcome depression, anxiety, anger or relationship issues. I offer a friendly, professional and confidential counselling and psychotherapy service to support you in times of difficulty or reflection. I work with individual clients and couples.

I can help you gain a better understanding of your issues and offer you tools and techniques to deal with specific problems. This can enable you to make positive changes to your life, gain greater self-esteem and live your life more fully.

I have particular experience working with anxiety and depression, anger management, work and family issues and bereavement and loss.

If you would like to talk with me about how counselling/therapy may help you, we can arrange an initial session with no obligation to continue. If you have specific questions prior to booking a first session, you can email me or we can discuss these in a brief introductory call. Please contact me in confidence, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Selected Client Feedback

"I want to thank you for your support and presence in my life over the last 3½ years. Just like I've been exploring my identities in our sessions you have been, for me, at times an armband, a sage, an older sister, a confidante and a listener. I appreciate the space you have created to allow me and others to bring our truest, most vulnerable selves to sessions - and, for me, to test things, behaviours, ideas out in safe surroundings. I appreciate your amazing memory for details, coming back to those little nuggets I drop in conversation, and how you let there be silence. (...) Thank you for all the hours of training, supervision, thinking, feeling you've gone through to become the brilliant therapist that you are."

"Thank you so much though for your guidance and insights, they have genuinely been so enormously helpful and, my current situation aside, have made me feel much happier and more relaxed. I know that all I've learnt through our sessions will stand me in good stead for the future. I will always feel very glad of all that counselling showed me and taught me and I appreciate that very much. Thank you for everything."

"Thank you for all your help, support and guidance during our time working together. I really appreciate everything we have worked on and discussed, whilst also realising that I am responsible for my own happiness."

"This is just to say thank you for everything you did to help me 'know myself' and make so much progress in my relationships with others, and me. I had never had counselling before but your sessions opened my eyes to its value, and no wonder I carried them on for so long."

"I really appreciated the opportunity to explore counselling with someone as kind and sensitive as you have been."
