About Me

If you have found me you might be feeling in need of finding a space to talk and be listened to. You might be struggling with low mood, angry feelings, depression, anxiety, bereavement, breakdown of a relationship or other life events.

I am an experienced, professionally qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor and I work with people who are having psychological and emotional problems. I provide a safe and confidential space, where you and I can work together to explore whatever concerns or difficulties you might be experiencing. These might be concerns arising from recent events, or long-standing issues that you feel are preventing you from fully engaging in your life.

Many people find it helpful to talk to an objective, professionally trained person outside of their family or circle of friends. Choosing the right therapist is important and involves finding someone you feel you can trust and work with. Often it is the strength of the relationship between the client and therapist which is the best indicator of a good outcome. It is important that you find the right therapist for you, meeting for an initial consultation is a good way to start and see if the person you have found is a good fit.

When looking for a therapist it is important to make sure that the person you find is professionally trained and fully registered.

Fees

I offer 50 minute sessions at the same weekly time(s) on a short-term or an open-ended basis. I charge £80 for each appointment.

Prior to starting regular weekly sessions together it is useful for us to meet for an initial consultation. Sometimes we may decide to meet more than once to continue our initial consultation. This gives us time to get to know each other, and for you to decide if you would like to begin therapy with me.

I am an approved practitioner for Vitality Health, Cigna and AXA PPP private health insurance.

If you would like to get in touch to set up an initial consultation or to discuss your situation you can contact me either via telephone or email and I will get back to you promptly.
