About Me

Most people want answers to the questions below:

-   What are the prospects that counselling will help me?

Research* shows that 80% of clients are better off after therapy.

-   How long will I need to come?
65% of people improve after seven sessions.
So coming to therapy is an investment worth making in order to find a way forward.

I will listen without judgement, be empathic and sensitive.  Current and past clients tell me that, because of the work we've done together, they have a better understanding of themselves (and others), they feel more positive about themselves and their challenges, and really value the opportunity to offload and 'leave it all behind'.

If you have relationship or family issues, are experiencing anxiety or depression, suffering from stress, have experienced a bereavement (including miscarriage), or have low self-esteem, and want someone to listen, understand and support you without making judgements, please contact me.  I offer support in anger management, bullying, and redundancy as well as to those who are struggling with or exploring spirituality.

I have many years' experience as a counsellor in a GPs' surgery, in private practice, and in schools (counselling staff and children). My work with schools has been featured in Times Education Supplement and in School Leadership Today.  Managers refer staff to me for counselling and support.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their code of ethics.

Parking available.  Easy access from Reading town centre, Wokingham, A329M, M4.
