Dr Anindita Sarkar BSC (Hons), MSc, DClinPsy, CPsychol, is the director of Royal Arsenal Psychology Services (RAPS). Dr Anindita Sarkar is a senior, experienced clinical psychologist working in NHS and educational settings since 2001. She has a wealth of experience of working with mental health, behavioural, neuro-developmental conditions and learning disabilities across the life span. Since 2010, she has specialised in child and adolescent mental health and neuro-developmental conditions alongside her adult work.
Moreover, as a senior clinical psychologist, she delivers a wide range of evidence-based treatments in accordance with National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE), which enables her to work flexibly and tailor to individual (child, adolescent and adult), family, school, work needs.
Furthermore, she is an experienced supervisor and has considerable leadership, service development, teaching and training experiences. She is also trained to be an expert witness.
She is chartered with the BPS and registered with the HCPC. She is also registered provider and part of a number of leading health insurers' practitioner networks – Aviva, AXA PPP Healthcare, BUPA International, BUPA UK, Vitality Health and WPA. Life can be difficult at times and as adults we can feel so overwhelmed by our problems that we cannot see the flowers blooming in-between the weeds. This is also true for children, young people and the challenges they face growing up.
RAPS is a comprehensive psychological service based in Royal Arsenal (Greenwich), providing expert assessment and treatment for children, young people and adults with a range of emotional, psychological, behavioural and/or neurodevelopmental (ASD and ADHD) needs. RAPS is a high quality, compassionate, safe and ethical service offering focused interventions to help overcome these difficulties.
RAPS offer supervision, teaching and training to mental health professionals. Consultations, teaching and training is also offered to education, social care establishments and other agencies, tailoring the sessions to the specific needs of the target group.
