Amanda Kirtland-Page
Integrative hypnotherapistAbout Me
I have worked as a hypnotherapist and integrative psychotherapist and counsellor for over 30 years, both in private practice and within the NHS.
If you are struggling and cannot seem to find a clear way forward, would like to overcome a habit that's causing you anxiety or are finding yourself in a perpetual negative repeating pattern that seems to lock you into a way of coping that's very destructive, I can help you. Equally, if you are battling with insomnia, relationship issues, social distress or negative work issues, we can work together to make those important changes.
Every client has the potential to benefit from many different types of therapeutic work and my job is to discover and offer options and choices as we go along. Hypnotherapy is a powerful way of working, however, it is certainly not the only option open to you.
I am very passionate about clarity and making sure the client is well informed about the work we do together. As well as Hypnotherapy, I also use Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Timeline Therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA), Person Centered Counselling, Solution Focused Therapy, Gestalt, Equine Assisted Therapy, Guided Visualisation and Mindfulness.
I am also passionate about mental heath in the workplace and travel around the UK presenting workshops and seminars on confidence, self esteem, overcoming stress and anxiety and improving wellbeing within companies, schools and universities.

Fees
I offer an initial Consultation, which is normally for one and a half hours. This gives us time to discuss all that you are struggling with and ensures you do not feel at all rushed. After the initial consultation, all sessions are 1 hour long.
Charges for all sessions £65 payable in advance.
For all consultations, you will have a choice of either clinic, online sessions or a home visit.
Clinic sessions gives you the opportunity to get away from the office or home and just be somewhere completely neutral. Online sessions gives you the freedom to have your consultation wherever you are, be it at home, at work, or in any private area of your choice. There is no travelling or parking difficulties. Home visits can only be arranged within 25 miles of Brighton and incur extra travel costs but are ideal if you are disabled or elderly.
Clinic Sessions:
These are held in Brighton (5 min walk from Brighton Station or parking nearby in ) or Chelwood Farm on Ashdown Forest (plenty of private parking).
Both the Brighton clinic and the Chelwood clinic have a different 'feel', as one is in the town and the other in the countryside. However, both are completely private, comfortable, have a wonderful calm atmosphere and all the facilities needed. (Toilet, refreshments, etc).
Online:
I offer online sessions for all therapy including hypnotherapy. You will need a good broadband connection for your phone, tablet, laptop or computer. This must take place in a private room and preferably in a comfortable chair. Information on how to set this up, if needed, can be sent a few days before our appointment.
Home Visits:
These are only available to a small number of clients due to the time required. You will be charged additional travel costs which include petrol and time taken to and from your house.
