About Me

Please note: Starting in September is it possible to have Face-to-Face sessions or Online sessions. Please visit either harleysttherapy.co.uk/online-therapy or ealingtherapy.co.uk/online-therapy for more information.

Hello & Welcome. As a BACP Registered Therapist I offer an integrative approach of one-to-one talking therapy. This means I draw from a variety of different theoretical approaches depending on your needs.

There are many reasons why you may be seeking therapeutic support including mental health issues, bereavement, relationship challenges, difficulty at work or struggling with a particular experience. Whatever your reasons, I provide safe, supportive and non-judgemental support which is bespoke to you.

GETTING STARTED

Finding the right therapist for your journey is very important. If you would be interested in coming to see me:

  • Send me an email ([email protected]) or call me (020 7550 9333) and we can get an Initial Consultation set up.
  • During the Initial Consultation you can share what brings you to therapy, what you would like from therapy and ask me any questions you may have. We can discuss how we might work together and how I can best support you.
  • If you're happy to continue we will set up a second session, and we'll arrange to see each other weekly at a time suitable for us both.

I hope that every person I work with will reach a place where they are able to flourish.

Before attending the Initial Consultation, you may find it to make a note of the reasons for seeking therapeutic support. This may help you describe your feelings while we are getting to know each other. You’re free to talk about anything that is on your mind, no matter how large or small. Quite often people find themselves saying things they had not expected to say. That is more than OK and I will always help you explore these feelings.

If we have agreed to book in an Initial Consultation via email or phone, we will meet at 96 Harley Street. The door to the practice is dark grey with a large brass ‘96’ on it. Press the buzzer and either myself or one of the receptionists will buzz you in. There is a light and spacious waiting room and there are also toilet facilities available. Just before our session is due to begin, I’ll come to meet you and we’ll head to our therapy room. We’ll both sit in comfortable chairs facing each other. Sessions, including the Initial Consultation will always start on the hour and last 50 minutes. Details of how to find 96 Harley Street are on my website - harleysttherapy.co.uk

Training and qualifications

I’m a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their code of ethics. I qualified with a Post-Graduate Diploma from The Minster Centre, the UK's leading Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy training institute.

Working both privately and within the NHS, I’m privileged to work with a diverse range of people.

I currently work at the Mulberry Centre, a cancer support charity and IAPT service (part of the NHS’s initiative to provide more psychotherapy to the general population). Located at the West Middlesex University Hospital campus, the charity seeks to provide support and information for anyone affected by cancer (patients, carers and family), offering practical ways of enhancing physical, psychological and emotional well-being.

I have also worked within a Therapeutic Community providing long-term therapy for adult survivors of childhood abuse (Sexual, Emotional & Physical).

I am the founder of In-House Wellbeing (inhousewellbeing.com) providing Wellbeing Strategies and Workplace Counselling within a corporate business setting.

Before becoming a Therapist, I worked in the Film and Television Industry in the UK and USA.
